Discord bot privacy policy
Who this covers
This policy covers the DonutStats Discord bot. It shows DonutSMP stats, auctions, buy orders, prices and leaderboards from DonutStats.io inside Discord. The website has its own privacy policy.
What the bot receives
When you use a command, Discord sends the bot your Discord user ID, the server and channel it was used in, and the options you typed, such as a Minecraft username or an item name.
To answer commands that start with ! or a mention of the bot, Discord also delivers the text of messages in channels the bot can read. The bot only looks for its own commands. Every other message is ignored straight away and is never stored or logged.
What the bot stores
Only what you set up yourself. If you create a price alert with /pricealert add, the bot keeps your Discord user ID, the item, the price and when the alert last fired, so it can send you a direct message.
If you use /settings, the bot keeps your Discord user ID with your choices for private replies and alert messages.
The bot also keeps short technical logs, such as errors and which servers added or removed it, to keep it running. These logs are rotated and deleted within 30 days.
How it is used
Your input is used only to answer your commands, apply your settings and deliver your alerts. We never sell it, use it for advertising or share it with anyone, apart from Discord, which carries every message. Minecraft usernames you look up are public DonutSMP information.
Deleting your data
Delete my data in /settings removes your settings and every alert at once. You can also remove a single alert with /pricealert remove or the Stop this alert button on an alert message. Deletion is immediate. Removing the bot from a server or from your apps stops it from receiving anything new from you.
Children
The bot follows Discord's age rules. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
